  3.   It's pretty  hard to  choose which cruncher  to use when the results are as
  4.   close as these.   If you're looking  for a cruncher  to do large executable
  5.   files that  is quick (uncrunching)  then  look no further  then Imploder 4,
  6.   it took nearly half the  time to uncrunch Dpaint and it was crunched better
  7.   then PowerPacker could do it.

  9.   But if you're looking for ease of use, and the ability to set your cruncher
  10.   running and leave it,  then your proggie is PowerPacker 4.   With the Arexx
  11.   port (in the WB2 version) and it's own  script  language, it's great.  It's
  12.   also great  for  crunching  data files  (docs, pix, etc).   It  handled the 
  13.   smaller  proggie (DirWork)  much better then  Imploder (size and time), but
  14.   it is still slower to uncrunch when executed.

  16.   So it's  your choice!,  my personal  preference  is PowerPacker because you
  17.   feel as  if you  have  "CONTROL" over  the programme and you can set it how
  18.   you want it.   I just  wish I  had a better grasp of Arexx so I could write
  19.   some excellent  scripts for it,  I've  written  a few, but nothing to write 
  20.   home about.  If  anyone out  there has  written some cool Arexx PowerPacker
  21.   Scripts (#?.pprx) send them to us, and we'll distribute them!
